Q.E.D Systems has an ABR from NAVSEA dated 28 August 1992, and has extensive experience in Alteration Installation Team (AIT) work. AIT, alteration design, fabrication, installation, and testing (including complex planning and coordination) experience includes, for example, providing engineering, design, and technical support to identify and procure material, prefabricate, assemble and test 19 logic control cabinets for upper and lower weapons elevators on CVN-70. Q.E.D. also has experience fabricating and installing new foundations; installing additional cables, phones, and switch gear; operationally testing entire system; training ship’s personnel; restoring disturbed areas; and providing design, ILS, and training support. The company has installed prototype Advanced Combat Direction Systems (ACDS) on DDG-993 class ships and installed complete ICAS systems on several Arleigh Burke (DDG-51) class ships.
