Job Description:
DDL OMNI Engineering is currently seeking Support Analyst for our Simulation and Systems Division. The successful candidate will plan and schedule all events, tests, maintenance and installations for lifecycle support on ASW systems. The Analyst reviews drawings, support packages and technical documentation; extracts appropriate information; assembles work packages; and estimates manpower requirements, materials, services tools, equipment, cost and other requirements as needed. Responsibilities include coordinating with team, ISEA, engineers and other Navy and shipyard personnel and validating all requirements; tracking shipboard installations and/or event progress; and updating all production efforts to ensure cost estimations and completions are accurate. Education Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree and 2-5 years related professional experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Skills Preferred:
- Minimum 4 years planning and scheduling experience with Undersea Warfare (USW) Systems on surface ships; active and passive sensors; hull-mounted arrays; towed arrays and sonobuoys; underwater fire control; and onboard trainers and displays
- Comprehensive understanding of Shipboard Installation Drawings (SIDs)
- Requires scheduling and planning problem solving skills
- MS Office skills, to include Project, Power Point, Word and Excel
