Job Description:
DDL OMNI Engineering is currently seeking a Project Manager to provide technical and management oversight of Surface Sonar ISEA Life Cycle Support of AN/SQQ89 family of surface sonar systems, including their auxiliary, power and peripheral equipment and systems. The position develops technical project plans, proposals, reports and task orders and administrative reports; develops deliverables and other customer products; and performs quality assurance on all project deliverables. The Project Manager is also responsible for the technical performance of personnel providing life cycle ISEA support to the US Navy vessels. This is a great opportunity for the motivated Field Engineer II to participate in a team environment and make an impact immediately.
Education Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, engineering or a technical discipline and 5 years experience; or military/technical certification school and 10 years experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Advanced degree is desirable.
Skills Preferred:
Six (6) years of experience as a task group leader or project engineer associated with the design and test and/or installation, and/or logistic support of at least two of the following disciplines:
• AN/SQS-53/56(V) SONAR
• AN/SQQ-89(V) Systems
• AN/SQR-19 (series)
• AN/SQQ-28 (series)
• OK-410 (series) hoists
• AN/SQQ-89 Auxiliary and Adjunct processors
This position requires the ability to obtain a Security Clearance.
• AN/SQS-53/56(V) SONAR
• AN/SQQ-89(V) Systems
• AN/SQR-19 (series)
• AN/SQQ-28 (series)
• OK-410 (series) hoists
• AN/SQQ-89 Auxiliary and Adjunct processors
