DDL OMNI has expertise in the development of combat control systems and currently supports the Common Tactical Control System (TCS) program, which is the core tactical program delivered to all applicable US/RAN submarine classes.  The objective of the TCS program is to deliver advanced data fusion, target localization, tactical decision aids, imaging, and overall data and information management technologies that will provide substantial improvements to the submarine tactical decision maker’s ability to successfully perform his mission.

The Common TCS program also interfaces with the Weapon Control (WC) System portion of the combat system, providing it with the tactical information required to effectively employ weapons. As the information management component of the combat control system, TCS is designed to easily integrate new software and hardware features selected from Advanced Processor Build–Tactical (APB-T) program evaluations, fleet input, COTS technology improvements, and other sources.
