DDL OMNI Engineering Awarded $14.8 Million Contract to Support MARITIME SPECIAL PROGRAMS at Naval Undersea Warfare Center

McLean, Virginia, April 30, 2013 – DDL OMNI is pleased to announce the award of Contract No. N00178-04-D-4032-N404 for engineering and technical services in support of Maritime Special Programs at Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport, Newport, Rhode Island. Support under this contract, which was awarded on April 30, 2013, is valued at $14.8 Million.

This three year contract will come under the direction of Ralph M. Vlcek, Vice President, Engineering Services Division.  Work will be performed in the Norwich, Connecticut office.

DDL OMNI Engineering will provide engineering and technical services in support of Maritime Special Programs (MSP). These services will include engineering support for long range planning, Temporary Alteration (TempAlt) development, component fabrication, system installation and maintenance. Systems under the purview of MSP include  CLUSTER ECHO and CLUSTER ADOBE; Submarine Ventilation Temperature Monitoring System (SVTMS) Surveys; JIANT; Special Operations Intelligence System (SOIS); SSGN Battle Management Center (BMC) Special Augmentation Systems; Afloat Forward Staging Base (AFSB) Systems; Special Purpose Antennas; Installation of Carry-On Augmentation Equipment and Systems (COE); Installation of other Mission Support, Intelligence Support, and Special Operations Support Projects; DDL OMNI has been providing support to NUWCDIVNPT  in these critical areas for the past twenty years.
