DDL OMNI Awarded Prime Contract Supporting the U.S. Coast Guard

McLean, Virginia, February 1, 2017 – DDL OMNI was recently awarded a prime contract to support the U. S. Coast Guard Ship Design Team (SDT, CG-459) and Surface Forces Logistics Center Engineering Services Division (SFLC ESD), providing complete life cycle management of floating assets from concept development through eventual disposal.  This includes tasks relating to the acquisition of new cutters and boats, for maintenance and upgrade of existing cutters and boats, for management and maintenance of vessel configuration and performance characteristics, and for engineering and design support services.  The Coast Guard will use this task order to support Technical and Design Development of the Polar Icebreaker (PIB), Offshore Patrol Cutter (OPC) and will be used by the Surface Forces Logistics Center to support legacy cutters and boats.

This contract was awarded on December 28, 2016 at a value of $52.9M over 5 years.  Work will be conducted at USCG Headquarter Buildings at 2703 Martin Luther King Jr. Ave, SE, Washington, DC and Surface Forces Logistics Center Engineering Services Division at 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD.   

This contract will be managed by DDL OMNI’s Simulation & Systems Division office in Virginia Beach, VA under the direction of Thomas K. Cole, Vice President.
