DDL OMNI Awarded $7.6 Million Contract to Support the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, Code 65

McLean, Virginia, September 30, 2010―DDL OMNI is pleased to announce the award of Contract No. N00178-04-D-4032-FD05 for underwater systems structure and structural design, engineering, and structural testing support to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD), Survivability, Structures & Materials Directorate, Structures and Composites Division, Code 65.  The Division develops, demonstrates, and transitions new and emerging structural material technologies in support of U.S. Navy surface ship and submarine structural systems. This 5-year contract will come under the direction of Kirk D. Beene, Vice President, Engineering Division.  Work, led by Charles Zanis, Director for Materials and Structures, will be performed both at the DDL OMNI McLean headquarters and on site at NSWCCD.
