DDL OMNI Awarded $ 25.4 Million Contract for Scientific, Engineering and Technical Support to the Naval Surface Warfare Center,

McLean, Virginia, August 30, 2012 – DDL OMNI is pleased to announce the award of Contract No. N00178-04-D-4032/FD06 for scientific, engineering, and technical support services to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division in the areas of TUBA and Acoustic Systems Support, Ship Control Systems Support, Materials and Structures Support, and In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) Support.  Support under this contract, which was awarded on August 30, 2012, is valued at $25.4 million.

DDL OMNI will provide scientific, engineering, and technical support services in support of the TUBA Program, Submarine Shaker Vibration systems, tracking, ranging and guidance systems and signatures analysis, Submarine and Surface Ship programs in the areas of signature reduction, signature measurement technology and systems development, and Non-Propulsion Electronic Systems.  This 3-year contract will come under the direction of Kirk D. Beene, Vice President, Engineering Division.  TUBA and Shaker Vibration systems work, led by James E. Norman, Program Manager, will be performed from both the McLean, Virginia office and onsite at NSWCCD.  Ship Control Systems work, led by George W. Carpenter and Michael G. Daughan, Program Managers, will be performed from the McLean, Virginia and Middletown, Rhode Island offices. Materials and Structures work, under the cognizance of Charles A. Zanis, Director Materials and Structures, will be performed from the McLean, Virginia office.
