DDL OMNI Awarded $ 21.4 Million Contract for the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Acoustic Support Program

McLean, Virginia, September 27, 2010 – DDL OMNI is pleased to announce the award of Contract No. N00178-04-D-4032-N403 for engineering and technical services to the Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport in the area of submarine temporary alteration design.  Support under this contract, which was awarded on September 27, 2010, is valued at $21.44 million.

DDL OMNI will provide temporary alteration designs for Cluster Hound, Cluster Reverb, Cluster Cane, and other Acoustic Support Programs.  The program’s goal is life cycle development of prospective systems, in-service engineering support for existing systems, and quick reaction support to the intelligence agencies and fleet consumers based on operational tasking.  This five-year contract will come under the direction of Ralph Vlcek, Vice President, Engineering Services Division.  Work, led by John Leckie, will be performed in the Norwich, CT, facility.
