Peter J.G. CaylorPeter J.G. Caylor is Vice President of the Engineering Division. He is responsible for the execution of contracts for the engineering, technical, and In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) support of the ACINT and Tactical Data Recorder (TDR) programs for NSWCCD; engineering and technical support for the NSWCCD Shaker Laboratory; materials and structures engineering for NAVSEA, NSWCCD, and ONR; system engineering for the submarine Tactical Control System (TCS); independent verification and validation (IV&V) for Seawolfand Virginia Class submarine Ship Control Systems; and ISEA support for the Seawolf and VirginiaClass Fly-By-Wire (FBW) systems.

Mr. Caylor joined DDL OMNI in 2004 as Director of Corporate Infrastructure and was promoted to Vice President of the Information Technology Division in 2008 and Vice President of the Engineering Division in 2014.  Prior to joining DDL OMNI, Mr. Caylor held positions managing the communications infrastructure of government and corporate organizations, including the Federal Technology Service (FTS) and MicroStrategy. Mr. Caylor has extensive experience in the implementation and operational management of the production environment for an application service provider.  He also founded a software development company, later sold to Smith Micro Software in 2000.

Mr. Caylor received a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the California Institute of Technology (Caltech) and Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the Pamplin School of Business at Virginia Polytechnic Institute (Virginia Tech).  He has been awarded multiple technical certifications from Microsoft, Cisco and International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium.  Additionally, he holds the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
