With vast experience in modeling and simulation (M&S),
DDL OMNI Engineering brings a wide range of expertise to
any simulation software Independent Verification, Validation
and Accreditation (IV&V)/Test and Evaluation (T&E)
effort. DDL OMNI analysts are—
-
Skilled
in all aspects of M&S, from formulation and interpretation
of simulation requirements to development and execution
of complex Joint, Coalition, Combined and Service war
games.
-
Well-versed
in numerous computer-assisted simulations ranging from
large-scale Unified Endeavor exercises to individual
Naval warfare area training.
-
Experts
in all levels of Naval operations, from individual ship
board through Fleet staff level.
-
Subject
matter experts (SMEs) in all of the Naval warfare areas
and brings significant experience in the use of computer-based
simulation in support of strategic, operational, and
tactical level training.
DDL OMNI has 20 years’ experience in software IV&V.
Having supported the requirements definition, Verification,
Validation and Accreditation (VV&A) and Test and Evaluation
(T&E) for the Enhanced Naval Warfare Gaming System (ENWGS)
and validation and data certification of the Joint Simulation
System-Maritime (JSIMS-M) and Joint Simulation System (JSIMS),
DDL OMNI Engineering analysts are experts in simulation
system VV&A and T&E.
DDL OMNI personnel support the Navy’s Executive Agent
for JSIMS-M including development guidance, operational
requirements development, life cycle application document
development, concept of operations development, and review
of all JSIMS-M Conceptual Models (CM), Design Reviews (DR)
and Model Expositions (ME). DDL OMNI supports the validation,
requirements management, data certification, results validation
and represented sponsor at numerous JSIMS Alliance and Joint
boards.
DDL OMNI analysts are recognized SMEs in all aspects of
JSIMS and JSIMS-M validation efforts. We develop and execute
all types of test plans and scenarios (verification, validation,
regression, integration, etc.), and support acceptability
criteria development, conceptual model validation, data
certification, preliminary design review and results or
implementation validation.
DDL OMNI analysts produce JSIMS-M verification test plans,
focusing on acceptability criteria development, conceptual
model validation, data certification, preliminary design
review and results or implementation validation. Leading
the way in joint results validation, DDL OMNI analysts developed
test plans that set the standard for other JSIMS domains'
cross-domain interaction validation procedures. The Joint
Warfighting Center (JWFC) has adopted these cross-domain
validation procedures and depends on DDL OMNI Engineering
leadership and innovation in making implementation validation
events successful.
