In today’s global economy, the role of the environment
and the protection of natural resources has been an area
of increased challenge for government, industry, and the
public. Balancing progress and preservation requires a firm
knowledge of environmental science, coupled with a proven
track record in business performance and expertise in the
latest technology solutions to enhance environmental management
processes.
During the past 20 years, DDL OMNI (formerly Walcoff &
Associates), has supported a wide range of environmental
initiatives—from public education, to policy analysis,
to site management and remediation. Our work includes environmental
assessment, analysis, and documentation; the creation of
impact statements; the development of high-visibility public
education materials; and training for personnel charged
with environmental enforcement. Additionally, we developed
and implemented a prototype web-based solution for streamlining
the 404 permit application process.
Today, our staff of environmental specialists provides
professional environmental management services to a number
of government and commercial customers. Many of our recent
efforts involve projects to ensure compliance with the National
Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), the Resource Conservation
and Recovery Act (RCRA), and Occupational Safety and Health
Act (OSHA). Our highly skilled team offers a wide range
of knowledge in wildlife biology, ecology, soil science,
geomorphology, archaeology, GIS application, and environmental
safety and health.
